Ralphie May’s new comedy special, RALPHIE MAY: AUSTIN-TATIOUS was recently released on DVD and CD in May 2009.   Recorded live to a sold-out crowd at the Paramount Theater in Austin, TX, this marks the comedian’s fourth recording in just a few short years.

Ralphie’s popularity exploded from the success of NBC’s hit show, “Last Comic Standing” making him one of the biggest comedians in the country.

Most recently, Ralphie just finished shooting a new movie titled “The Best and Brightest” starring Neil Patrick Harris and Amy Sedaris, scheduled for release later this year.

In 2008, Ralphie was named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch”

His 2007 one-hour comedy special, PRIME CUT aired to higher ratings than Larry the Cable Guy or Ron White during Comedy Central’s “Blue Collar Weekend.”

Ralphie has worked as a writer and producer on ESPN’s “Mohr Sports” starring Jay Mohr and has also written for the ESPY’s.   

Having performed stand-up on numerous late night talk shows, including four appearances on CBS’s “The Late Late Show” as well as eleven appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and he was the first comedian in over 10 years to receive a standing ovation on “The Tonight Show.”
